If you are interested in helping to positively affirm the lives of African American and Latino boys and young men in Charlotte, consider mentoring, tutoring, or volunteering.

Roles Available

Mentor

We seek near-peer coaches to offer guidance and support to youth. If interested, follow these steps:

Step 1: Apply

Complete the mentor application form found in the dropdown "Assist Us" menu above.

Step 2: Background Check

Download and complete the Background Check/Release Waiver Form found in the dropdown "Assist Us" menu above.

Step 3: Submit

Email the completed and signed Background Check/Release Waiver Form with your resume, transcript, and list of three professional references (all in pdf format) to gentleman@expeditioner.org.

Tutor

We seek individuals with subject-matter proficiency to assist youth with content acquisition. If interested, follow these steps:

Step 1: Application

Complete the tutor application form found in the dropdown "Assist Us" menu above.

Step 2: Background Check

Download and complete the Background Check/Release Waiver Form found in the dropdown "Assist Us" menu above.

Step 3: Submit

Email the completed and signed Background Check/Release Waiver Form with your resume, transcript, and list of three professional references (all in pdf format) to gentleman@expeditioner.org.

Volunteer

We seek help organizing, managing, and executing events. If interested, follow these steps:

Dr. Jonathan Smalls will lead the team into deeper understanding of the concepts of Purpose, Integrity, Nurture, and Knowledge (PINK) and how these may be perceived by young men in social contexts.
